Every major piece of content that I’ve produced in EverQuest so far has been linked with a particular song or album in my mind. Players should never see a connection in the game, but I find that binging on a particular album or song helps me channel a particular story, feeling, or theme in the content. It’s easy to lose focus when jumping between multiple projects, and music keeps me creative within the right realm of emotions I’m trying to inspire.

I’m currently binging on the wonderful Janelle Monáe’s ArchAndroid album after stumbling across her song Wondaland while searching for music for a design document. I love how diverse, playful, and unique every song on the album is.
