It gets lonely farming by yourself in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria (and slow-talkin Yoon isn’t much help!), but there’s a way to add a pet dog to your plot of land in Valley of the Four Winds if you know where to look.

1. Earn your farm via quests at Halfhill Market in Valley of the Four Winds.

2. Farm and do daily quests to increase your Tillers reputation.

3. Reach 12600/21000 in Revered reputation with the Tillers.

4. Find the Lost Dog lying between boulders at a fork in the path near the bottom of The Heartland.

5. Accept the dog’s quest and fly directly northwest to the large plateau above.

6. Kill Skyrange Mushans wandering up there.

7. Keep killing until you’ve looted 20 Tasty T-Bones.

8. Return to the Lost Dog and turn in the quest.

9. You can visit your new best friend any time on your farm!

You don’t have to play with your new pup, but you know he’ll appreciate it if you do! If you’re feeling affectionate, try giving it a /kiss or showing it some /love. Or start a friendly rivalry with a /bark and smooth it out with /pet afterwards. No matter how you prefer to play, enjoy your new pet pup!
